Commence your safari driving from Arusha City Centre to Tarangire passing through the countryside with several villages and farms

Arusha City which is located to the North of Tanzania, home to almost 1.3 million people. Welcoming and rich in heritage and culture, it’s a must-visit place in Tanzania. The city offers amazing views of Mount Meru as it is situated right at the bottom. The city is to the East of the Great Rift Valley and is a temperate climate.

Day 2

An early, hearty breakfast at the hotel to prepare for an exciting adventure ahead!

After breakfast you will start your game drive through Tarangire National Park, the sixth largest park in Tanzania. Named after the river that crosses the park it is the main water source for the animals that live there especially during the dry seasons. Birds breed on the swampland and this is actually the biggest bird breeding area in the world!. The park is also famed for its thousands of termite mounds which are impossible to miss as there are so many mini-mountains!

Return to the lodge for lunch or you may opt for a picnic lunch.

The journey continues North West across the stunning hilly countryside of the highlands which is filled with Farms.

Begin with variety of delicious choices for breakfast.

After breakfast Enjoy the full day thrilling game drive within the floor of Ngorongoro Crater. Explore the World’s largest intact volcanic caldera which is often referred to as the eighth wonder of the world! The crater is home to over 25,000 large mammals and was the result of an erupted volcano thousands of years ago. The animals live in harmony in the huge, walled crater which also houses stunning lakes, lush forests and vast plains. Due to its size and diversity, the crater floor is comprised of several distinct areas, ranging from forest, swamps, lakes and springs, to open grassland and some sandy dunes. It’s an awesome wildlife experience.

A picnic lunch is served overlooking a small lake populated with hippos.

Continue to explore the Crater floor. The Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and conservation area considered as Africa’s best places to see wildlife in its natural habitat. It is simply magnificent and has stayed the same for thousands of years. It is located West of Arusha City. Within the deep walls of the crater you'll find variety of mammals living there. They wander through the lakes and forests. Some of the wildlife to be seen are bull elephants, rhinos, lions, hyena, buffalo, wildebeest and so many more in all their magnificence.
