Just as remarkable as the Northern Circuit is the Southern Circuit in Tanzania. While it is not as famous it still has some breathtaking areas to enjoy. There are less tourists travelling to this side of Tanzania, however, this brings a huge advantage as it allows visitors to truly revel in the unspoiled nature of Tanzania.
Both of these places in Southern Tanzania offer plenty of exciting wilderness and lush landscapes. They are also home to thousands of species of wildlife including Africa’s largest populations of buffalos, hippos, crocodiles and elephants. Expect to see other animals including lions, leopards, antelopes and kudu.
