General

We genuinely believe that by choosing Tanzania you guarantee yourself an incredible adventure. It is by far the most diverse destination in Africa, combining stunning landscape together with unbelievable wildlife, birdlife and marine-life. Additionally, Tanzania is famous for its natural landmarks, the Ngorongoro Crater, The Serengeti National Park and Lake Manyara National Park. It is also home to Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru. Culturally, there is nowhere on earth quite like it, many areas have colourful tribal land which adds another dimension to the wilderness and wildlife. We think it's the perfect destination if you want to combine game viewing, culture, scenery and stunning beaches!

Without doubt, no visitor should leave Tanzania without exploring The Serengeti National Park. It is the best National Park in Africa, promising outstanding wildlife and spectacular game viewing. There's always a few surprises in store for visitors, for example, depending on the time of year you visit you might witness the wildebeest migration or see the zebra migration. You might be rewarded with more than a few glimpses of the big cats or see some of the world's most endangered species. There's so much to see and so much to do, it goes without saying you must visit this National Park and while you're there, definitely spend some time at the Ngorongoro Crater , the giant remains of a volcano and home to thousands of animals, a true highlight of the Northern Circuit.

Firstly, it is important to respectfully dress so we advise modesty. It is also important to be comfortable so choose breathable, natural fabrics such as cotton and linen. At night, wear long sleeves and long trousers/skirts because this deters mosquitos. During the day, a hat is a must, always wear neutral colours too such as beige, khaki etc. It can get cold in the evenings so bring layers, a sweater and a light jacket. If it is rainy season, waterproofs are essential!

We think so and we do all we can to make sure your itinerary is as child-friendly as possible. There are lots of special activities that children love including boat trips, hiking, walks, seeing certain animals and more! We can also provide babysitting, car-seats and baby carriers where required but do let us know in advance.
